Newlyweds, a woman about to be stoned, and the Mother of Jesus encounter unexpected hope during their lowest points in life.
Message from the artist:
I wrote Water Into Wine during a time in my life when it seemed that my dreams had been crushed. This song was a combination of a prayer and a plea for God to turn my tears (water) into joy (wine).
The song paints a picture of three scenes from the Gospels, bringing to life key moments in which three characters — the newly weds at Cana, Mary Magdalene, and the Blessed Mother Mary — find their low points transformed in a moment of hope.
Like slow motion moments of a movie film, the song captures a dramatic turning point, when each of these characters discovers the possibility of having their "water" turned into "wine".
So bring your water. He'll turn it into wine.
