13 Years is a song Jesse Cohen, the guitarist of Analog Heart, wrote about his 13 year relationship with his wife Stacy. They started dating when they were in high school and got married in their early 20s. They bought a house together with a studio where Analog Heart rehearses regularly. Jesse wrote the song lyrics on his phone and later put it to music. It wasn't until Jesse played the song on piano instead of the guitar that Liz Bills(singer) and Austin Ferrante (drummer) fell in love. The piano really gave the song soul. Analog Heart went into the studio shortly after and recorded 13 Years with Scott Riebling. Analog Heart also shot a music video scheduled for a December 13th 2013 release. 13 Years was released on September 13th, 2013.
