This compilation marked the first official release of the "Ordo Regnum Sathanas" demo, as well as the first release of material from the "Perimä vihassa ja verikostossa" on cd. "Sormus ja silmä" also includes a re-recorded version of "Kun lyömme jumalan kodin liekkeihin" and the ourtro of the "Kohti yhdeksän nousua" album; unlike the original cd release, the outro is not featured on a separate track. The tracklist of the "Perimä vihassa ja verikostossa" portion of disc 2 does not match the original ep release, as it omits the first two tracks ("Ring to Rule" and "Haudanusva") but includes the title track which was excluded from the original pressing to be released on the split 7" with Fog (USA). The track "Ordo Regum Sathanas" also features an unidentified, very long instrumental outro which is not found in any other release of the demo.
