Joel Baker is a native of the area of Seattle, WA, and currently lives in Palm Springs, CA. He earned a degree in Music from The University of Washington where he was a student of renowned concert pianist Robin McCabe. You know how they have those pianists in Nordstrom stores? From 1988 through 2003, Joel did that at the Southcenter store in Seattle. Today, Joel performs as both a solo pianist and vocalist in several venues, both public and private, in Palm Springs. He is also in high demand as a cabaret pianist in the area. "Love Letters" is Joel's debut solo CD, and features eleven tracks of mostly romantic ballads: some vocal and some solo piano.
