TIM BEAM is a singer, guitarist and songwriter from Freiburg, Germany. His music is influenced by handcrafted rock acts mainly (e.g. Tom Petty, The Black Crowes, Guns N' Roses, The Georgia Satellites). Tim likes mixing his straightforward rock, that has no keyboards, nor sampler, with a lot of campfire guitar playing and some ”Black Forest feel”. He switches between his beloved Les Paul and his western guitar at live performances. There are sweat, riffs, singalong choruses and - always in between - very intimate tones from the bar stool. The songs have that much charisma that they can stand alone in acoustic settings – and above all they rock. Tim has been touring Germany, Australia, Switzerland, France & Poland so far. He feels at home on every kind of stage as long as there’s rockfans out there. Tim was born in Munich and grew up in Allgäu and in the Black Forest. The first album he ever bought was "Back in Black" by AC/DC. Then came the classic rock musician ’training’ in the village: rocking in the bedroom of his youth with a hair brush as a microphone, playing Neil Young, Dylan, and Wolfgang Ambros on his guitar at school parties, and of course he always spent his entire allowance at the local record store. Former classmates gave Tim his name. Nevertheless, it is only a rumour that he lives exclusively on Jim Beam. For lack of partying in the small spa town of Freudenstadt, he formed his first band in 1988. Since 1996, Tim shares a wild musical marriage with M.C. Ugh (lead guitar).
