“I was hooked in one as they took apart, with bitter grace, the media /academic obsession with and delight in the downfall of stars and idols.”, NEIL GAIMAN
“…frank yet florid lyrics worthy of Billy Bragg.”, THE GUARDIAN
“There are few today who match The Indelicates’ desire to make songs that awaken your limbs, your brain, and your funny bone…”,POP MATTERS
Pioneering DIY UK artists The Indelicates have spent the greater part of the last decade forging their own quixotic path through the music industry. They’ve played all over the world and supported acts like Art Brut, Amanda Palmer and We Are Scientists - as well as being wildly inventive with their commercial releases, producing all manner of books, keepsakes and Virtual Reality Viewers - their last two singles being VR exclusives. They are promoting this album with a 360 degree video for mobile devices which can be viewed here:

Now, releasing their fifth album, Simon and Julia Indelicate are confident that it’s their best work to date, representing a real step forward commercially and artistically.
Elevator Music is a retro-futuristic glam rock concept album about the singularity, the second space age and the keening loss of this last generation bound to the earth. It follows a loose story (which can be found at http://indelicates.com/elevator/1.html), but works just as well without it.
