Opeth2008年发行的专辑Watershed。opeth取自一个小说家笔下的一个城市的名字，大意是月亮之城的意思。opeth的雏形是一支名叫eruption的乐队。随着eruption的解散的同时，david成立了opeth，他从作家wilbur smith的小说中选了这个名字。
