Atom Egoyan（阿托姆·伊戈扬）是一位亚美尼亚裔的加拿大男导演。
他出生于埃及开罗，父母亲都是亚美尼亚人，而为了纪念埃及第一次成功试验了核反应堆，于是便以原子（atom）为他取名；而后为了更好的生活，于是他的父母亲带着全家在1963年迁往加拿大。
他小时候拒绝认同自己的亚美尼亚血统，不过上了多伦多大学后逐渐发现不能逃避承认自己的亚美尼亚血统，所以以加入该校的亚美尼亚学生会为开端，试着要去了解亚美尼亚的历史真相。
